Our Story
The Bradley‑Johnson Foundation was founded by Dr. Vivian B. Johnson, a pharmacist by training who rose to become a senior executive within one of the nation’s largest healthcare institutions.
Throughout her career, Dr. Johnson has been guided by a simple but powerful calling: to help others realize their potential.
During the COVID‑19 pandemic, Dr. Johnson witnessed a troubling trend—healthcare workers were leaving the field in large numbers, and many young people were unaware of the wide range of science‑based careers available to them.
She recognized a critical gap: students were not being exposed to the full spectrum of opportunities in science, nor were they receiving the financial literacy skills needed to thrive in adulthood.
At the same time, Dr. Johnson’s lifelong passion for the arts reminded her that creativity is essential to a young person’s development. She believed students deserved more opportunities to explore the arts, express themselves, and showcase their talent.
From these insights, the Bradley‑Johnson Foundation was born.
